Dear Parents and Guardians,

We appreciate the time you have taken as a volunteer driver. In order to be a driver, we require:
______ Criminal Record Check
­­­­­______ Drivers Abstract Report
______ Copy of your Drivers license
______ Copy of your car insurance (min. $2,000,000 Third Party Liability)

Criminal Record Checks for Volunteers

Effective Dec. 1, 2013, the Ministry of Justice has extended their criminal record check program to include volunteer. Because they check more offices than the RCMP, SD 62 will be using this service.

Driver’s Abstract

Options for requesting your abstract:

  1. In Person – Visit any ICBC Driver Licensing Office

Bring your driver’s licence and one other piece of required ID.

  1. By Phone – 1888-715-7775 or 1800-663-3051

Please have your driver’s licence number ready when you call.

  1. By Mail – Send us a letter including your full name, date of birth and signature.
