Hello Centre Mountain Lellum Families,

Communicating Student Learning

Teachers will provide the second informal learning update which will include information specific to the student’s learning. These informal learning updates may take the form of in-person/virtual conferences, phone calls, emails, portfolios, or written summaries. Teachers should have reached out already to inform parents/caregivers of the format and timeline of these informal learning updates, and will honour requests for conferences, either in-person, online, or phone calls. These informal learning updates must be completed by early May. If teachers plan to do informal learning updates in the form of conferences, these conferences can be scheduled at a time that works for all parties.

Please note: At Centre Mountain Lellum, we will not be organizing a full school parent/caregiver conference afternoon or evening. However, many teachers are organizing student-led conferences at Centre Mountain Lellum on Thursday, April 18. The times may vary from teacher to teacher, but the window of opportunity will be between 1:00-6:00pm. If you have not heard from your child’s teacher regarding the informal learning updates, please connect with them as soon as possible.
